Not flashy — just capable. Real capable. It’s got a 1298cc heart, four cylinders, five gears, and enough torque to pull your past right out from under you. Weighs over 600 pounds wet. But you don’t notice when you’re rolling. You just know it’s solid. Like a punch that lands exactly where it’s supposed to. Two seats — sure. But most of the time, it’s just you. You and the hum of the engine, the blur of pavement, the feeling that maybe, just maybe, you’re finally doing something that makes sense. They built this bike for the long haul. Touring, they call it. But to me, it’s just moving forward. Away from rules. Away from questions. Away from people who never understood why a machine could mean so much. “What are you rebelling against, Johnny?” I don’t know. Maybe time. Maybe comfort. Maybe the idea that we’re all supposed to stay in one place and smile like we mean it. All I know is this Yamaha gets it. It doesn’t care where you’re going — just that you don’t stop. And neither do I.
